LIBROS PARA PUEBLO SPECIAL OVERNIGHT TOUR

Be part of something that is making a difference...
Join the LpP team for a two day tour/visit to the village of San Jerónimo Tecoatl, where the newest of the Libros para Pueblos libraries is being inaugurated. You will be part of the inauguration festivities as we bring them their first collection of books.

We will meet at the Oaxaca Lending Library at 10 AM on Monday, January 15 and drive for approximately 6 hours to Huautla de Jiménez, spend the night there and drive the next day to San Jerónimo Tecoatl to be part of the public event to inaugurate the library. There will be traditional music and dances from the community. We will also visit the facilities of a cooperative cannery operated by women of the community. We expect to be back at the Oaxaca Lending Library by 10 PM on Tuesday night, January 16.
