Synopsis: Wadjda is ten years old and lives in a society so traditional that certain things like riding a bicycle are totally forbidden. In spite of everything, she is a fun and enterprising girl who always borders the border between the authorized and the prohibited. Wadjda wants to have a bicycle to compete with his friend Abdullah in a race, but his mother does not allow it because bicycles are a danger to the dignity of a girl.
