Talk by Dr. Shawn Haley, a well-respected Anthropologist who wrote the book Day of the Dead: When Two Worlds Meet in Oaxaca. Dr. Haley will help you better understand Dia de los Muertos, this wonderful, love-filled celebration from the perspective of the Zapotec of Oaxaca.
Then lend a hand in decorating the OLL Ofrenda. Photos and mementos are welcome to be displayed on the altar.
Refreshments will be served.
