PUEBLA WEEKEND TOUR

FRIDAY - SUNDAY / DECEMBER 15-17 (3 days & 2 nights)
Arrive in Puebla on Friday afternoon in time for comida in the Zocalo…mole poblano is a must-try in this city. Immediately following lunch will be a double-decker TuriBus tour of this historic, colonial city, which is the fourth largest in Mexico. On Saturday morning we will take Puebla’s new fast rail train to visit the pyramid and church in Cholula. In the afternoon we will visit the Uriarte Talavera factory to watch their talented artists at work. Saturday evening is free to explore downtown Puebla. On Sunday, the group will visit the exquisite new Baroque Museum for a guided tour before returning to Oaxaca.
The cost of the tour paid at the time of reservation, $1500 MXN, covers all ground transportation only -roundtrip from Oaxaca to Puebla and back, and from our hotel to all the events in Puebla.
A block of hotel rooms have been reserved. Participants will pay for their own hotel rooms and will also pay for all tours and meals of the individually.
Additional Fees:
Hotel rooms are approximately $1250 MXN for a single or double per night
The TuriBus is $160 MXN for a 90 minute tour
The high speed train ride is $120 MXN roundtrip
Entry fee for the archaeological ruins in Cholula is $65 MXN
Talavera tour is $50 MXN
Baroque Museum entry is free on Sundays.
Participants should budget $3145 MXN for transportation, lodging and entry fees.
Meals costs will vary greatly based on individual preferences/choices.
