Come and learn about local pipe organs from the 18th and 19th centuries. Where are they? Why are they unique? Do they still work? Is it possible to hear them? This two-part presentation begins with an informative PowerPoint presentation at the Oaxaca Lending Library by organist David Furniss. Part two is an on-site visit the next day to hear and explore one of these restored historic instruments – up close and personal! There will also be further information about the upcoming International Organ Festival from February 5-10.
