Williams has a BA from the University of Texas in Art History, where he studied with the late great LINDA SCHIELE as well as RICHARD TOWNSEND and TERRENCE GRIEDER, among other world renowned luminaries in the field of Mesoamerican art history. John has continued to study the art of Mesoamerica as well as visit archeological sites throughout Mexico since graduating from the University of Texas in 1978. John is a naturalized Mexican Citizen and completely bilingual and bicultural. He has been living and working in Mexico since 1984, first in Mexico City for 27 years, then in San Miguel for 3 years, and since 2014 in Oaxaca

This presentation will take place on the 2nd floor terrace of the Library. Seating in the salon will be made available for those unable to access the terrace. The presentation will be video stream for those in the salon. Please notify the office at least a week in advance for salon seating. Face Masks must be worn at all times. Attendees will be requested to maintain social distancing.

Tickets are $100 for Members and $130 for Non-Members of OLL
