Weaving and Candle Making in Teotitlan. Thursday, 13 Feb 2020, 9 am to 4 pm
Teotitlan is justly famous for the fine textile products woven there by families who have been
producing their wares for generations. We will visit the home and taller of the Gutierrez family.
We will also stop at the recently opened community cultural center and visit one of the candle
making workshops in the town. On the way back to Oaxaca the group will stop for lunch at a
local restaurant. (Note: tour price does not include lunch.)

Teotitlan es justamente famoso por los finos productos textiles tejidos alli por familias que han sido
produciendo sus productos por generaciones. Visitaremos el hogar y el mas alto de la familia Gutierrez.
Tambien nos detendremos en el centro cultural comunitario recientemente inaugurado y visitaremos una de las velas haciendo talleres en el pueblo. En el camino de regreso a Oaxaca, el grupo se detendra para almorzar en un restaurante local. (Nota: el precio del tour no incluye almuerzo).
