Ed McCaughan will share art and music by several generations of artists on the themes of the U.S.-Mexico border and the impact of its inconsistent and often arbitrary enforcement on the lives of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans.
Dr. Edward J. McCaughan, Emeritus Professor of Sociology, San Francisco State University, is the author of Art and Social Movements: Cultural Politics in Mexico and Aztlán and several other books. He now lives in Oaxaca with his husband, painter John Kaine.
