“Mitos y Leyendas de Oaxaca: Día de los Muertos”

What:
Our maestra Susana will tell some of the most enchanting legends of local regions to enhance your Spanish comprehension and expand your vocabulary. This particular edition of the Myths and Legends experience is dedicated to the popular holiday “Día de los Muertos”, or Day of the Dead. You will help Susana build a traditional altar in Tlayudona, as you learn about each element and its significance. You´ll become familiar with each item and its name so that you can later collect your own altar components at the local markets. This is a class for intermediate Spanish learners, and it comes with a cup of delectable local coffee or mezcal, depending on the hour.
