Description: Come to the library to hear a talk by Dr. Shawn Haley, a well-respected Anthropologist who wrote the book Day of the Dead: When Two Worlds Meet in Oaxaca. Dr. Haley will help you better understand Dia de los Muertos, this wonderful, love-filled celebration from the perspective of the Zapotec of Oaxaca.
Photos and mementos are welcome to be displayed on the altar.
Gratis, but early registration is advised.
Refreshments will be served.
