Waraji, traditional huarache of Japan
The Japanese huarache called Waraji is traditionally made with rice fiber or bamboo husk fiber. It is proposed to adapt the Japanese tradition to the Oaxacan context, where the rice fiber will be replaced by maguey fiber. Each participant will make their own huaraches. Teacher: Soh Tokunaga./

El huarache japonés llamado Waraji, tradicionalmente se hace con fibra de arroz o fibra de cáscara de bambú. Se propone adaptar la tradición japonesa a un contexto oaxaqueño, donde la fibra de arroz será reemplazada por fibra de maguey. Cada participante realizará sus propios huaraches.
