Tour leaves Oaxaca at 9:30 and returns 3:30-4 pm
Join us on a visit with the primary school children, about 25 minutes north of Oaxaca City. Children will read to you from their favorite books. We’ll talk with the principal and English language teacher, observe an English class (unique among public schools), take photos with the children, and see the radio program studio. This dynamic library has partnered with Libros Pare Pueblos since 2007 and has an extraordinary book collection. The visit includes a short, guided walk to the town church. Lunch will be in the school cafeteria, prepared by the parents’ collective.

Tours include only 14 participants -- early sign-up is recommended. An 800-peso donation is requested.
