The Buena Vista trail is a new addition to our hike venues in 2022-2023. The hike starts in the small village of San Antonio Buena Vista, located in the Teitipac region of the Tlacolula Valley, and proceed from there up and through a saddle in the ridge of hills separating it from the Zimatlan Valley where San Bartolo Coyotepec (our destination) is located. The hike is rated moderate, but does required traveling over some rough stretches of trail.
