Coffee is indeed a fruit and each region of Oaxaca certainly has different flavors! In this crash course we'll talk about the 5 factors that influence the final taste of your morning cup of joe. We'll get into a little chemistry and science before tasting different roasting profiles, experimenting with different potential coffee flavor expressions and finally trying coffee from various regions in Oaxaca!

Kate is the owner of Cafébre on M. Bravo 108 and has been living and working in Oaxaca since 2008. She is the 15th place holder nationally in Brew Bar, roasts more than 100 pounds of coffee a week and really likes to get technicial about everything coffee./
